City of Juneau Downtown Historic District Design Standards, Juneau, AK
These standards, which guide design review in Juneau’s historic downtown core, were the first historic district design standards to be adopted in Juneau. The guidelines reinforce Juneau’s Victorian-era vernacular style.

This urban design study provided the background necessary to prepare design guidelines governing retail and light industrial development in Tukwila’s eleven-acre commercial core. It won a Washington APA Honor Award for Research in 1997.

The urban design framework of the Irvine campus was defined in preparation for developing urban design guidelines and landscape design concepts to ‘knit together’ buildings from the original campus plan with contemporary buildings, and improve the pedestrian environment.
